Quick and Easy Recipes - Avocado Salad / Salsa

Ingredients - one bowl per serving, this recipe is for 1 serving
  • Half of an onion (chopped)
  • Half of a green bell pepper (chopped)
  • One medium avocado (peeled, pitted and diced)
  • One small tomato (chopped)
  • Half of a lime (juiced, or 2 teaspoons of lime juice)
  • 1/4 of a jalapeno (minced)
  • Optional---
  • Cilantro (chopped)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Corn (1/4 cup)





Directions -
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl
  2. Season with vinegar, lime juice, sesame oil, salt and pepper

serve immediately (salad)
cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving (salsa)

the only difference is for salsa, you'll need to finely chop and/or mince all ingredients; and leave it in the fridge before serving.

for them meat/seafood lovers, add chicken, shrimp of your choice.
