REVIEW: Influenster Vox Gillette Venus

Hello world! Look at what I got from Influenster Vox Box! A cute little Gillette Venus Razor. I have seen them all around Target and drugstores. I use the regular Gillette Venus from time to time and it's great to try out this baby version of it!

It's basically your regular razor on a shorter handle. Come in a plastic case so it's super travel friendly. Perfect for gym bags or carry on!

& good news! I finally have a set working schedule next month! Will be traveling to Shanghai all month in June. It's been forever and I'm extremely happy about it. Thank God for saving me from schedulers. I don't like to talk too much about my work online, but let's just said I've had way more than enough from May. On the positive note, it's going to be a whole lot better in June! :)

Influenster Jolly Vox Box 2013 Review

Supposedly the #jollyvoxbox is the best box influenster has to offer in the year. well, that's what they claimed to be. (last time i qualified for another infulenster box, after i filled out my shipping address and everything, they sent me an email saying they ran out and oops too bad but you'll get the best box of the year, referring to the jollyvoxbox.)

let me just say. im quite disappointed. even though i got this for free, i had to speak whats on my mind...

another NYC product. This is the third time in a row that i got from my influentser boxes.


Rimmel London NEW Show Off Lip Lacquer in Stargazer ($5.49-$5.99)
the only thing that stood out to me! im so excited to try it out. this was actually something i considered buying because of essiebutton! :)

Skinny Cow Candy Divine Filled Chocolates in Peanut Butter Creme ($3.99 per box)
i love skinny cow. i love it way before influenster. but too bad they had to include the peanut butter favor.. not my favorite but not bad!

Ducklings Mini Rolls Duct Tape ($2-$3)
again, why?! holiday gift wrapping maybe? but to be honest, this colorful duct tape with design on them only makes the gift wrapping tackier than ever. Duct tape is good to have around, but why is it in the holiday box?!

Overall, not impressed. If this is the "best" box influenster has to offer. It's quite an disappointment. I must admit I have gotten better boxes from influenster.

REVIEW Impress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails

I got my very first influenster voxbox two weeks ago.. check out my college voxbox post here :)

Heard many good things about imPress nails but never got to try it because it was a little on the pricey side compare to other press on nails (I usually use Kiss, which is around $4-5 per box and it's good enough for two uses.)

I don't use press on nails often because they can add up quickly. just the other day i forgot to repaint my nails the night before and i was almost running late for a meeting. so i just grabbed the impress nails and out the door.

took me less than 5 minutes to apply. yes it took me 5 mins because it took me a while to peel off the sticker film on the back of each nail and then apply. still faster than painting nails though and theres no dry time!

it lasted for about 3 whole days (i didnt really take good care of it, and im sure if i did, it would have last for a bit longer)

these nails are pretty secure/sticky. i didn't see much lifting, and as soon as there was (on my right index finger, i took the whole set off right away)

the length of these nails are pretty short and natural. my friends even asked if i painted my nails myself! lol

the only thing is that these impress nails barely include any small nail sizes. if you have small hands, finger nails, it might not fit your pinkys. otherwise, it's pretty good for $5.99-7.99 a set.
