DIY Brown Sugar Masque Mask

Brown sugar scrub has been a staple in my skincare routine for quite some time now. Not only its all natural, it’s also very cheap to make!

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar ½ cup almond oil, can substitute extra virgin olive oil and/or coconut oil, 1 tablespoon honey

Direction
In a medium mixing bowl, add ingredients and mix well

To Use
In the shower, apply your homemade brown sugar scrub into skin and rise. Can be used daily.

This homemade brown sugar scrub is all natural and preservative free.

Benefits of a brown sugar scrub

brown sugar helps condition and moisturize skin. Brown sugar works well to cleanse skin, it is known to reduce current acne, and help prevent further breakouts.Almond oil is an excellent emollient and moisturizer, helps nourish and soften the skin.Honey is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, which are wonderful beauty aids that nourish the skin. Honey is a well known antibacterial and anti-fungal agent. It helps disinfect and speed the healing process in wounds, scrapes, burns, and acne scars!

**I didn't come up with this recipe, all i did was google

This homemade brown sugar scrub compares to my ALL TIME FAVORITE Befine Exfoliating Cleanser with Almond & Brown Sugar & Oats

>>Click here to purchase one for yourself!

**I discover Befine from Birchbox.com, I got 2 packs of Befine brown sugar exfoliating cleanser back in May 2012; and fell in love ever since. I did purchase a full size 4 fl oz for $25 from birchbox.com, though I used my birchbox points and got it for $15 plus tax + S&H. I still love my befine cleanser, but if i can get the same thing with only a few bucks, and utilize some ingredients in my kitchen.. Why not?! :)

Since there is no preservatives in this scrub, be sure to use it within a few days, or simply reduce the amount of ingredients and make it a one-time use scrub.

Enjoy!
