just so you all know, the sephora vib tote is pretty crappy. i'd say it's about the size of a magazine and you can't fit much in it. i wish they make the bag bigger so i can at least use it when i go grocery shopping..

I think i spent around $125 after tax, which is not bad. I got a year supply of clarisonic brush heads, and get to try out the caudalie skincare line. I'm so excited!

I was actually looking for Josie Maran Rosey mist-refreshing rose water ($24) but the sephora i went to didn't carry josie maran's skincare line. the sale associate recommended me Fresh rose marigold floral water ($38), which is also rose scented but it was way over my budget! or should i say im too cheap to spend that much on a toner...

REVIEW Tarte Fantastic Foursome Amazonian Clay Blush Set

I mentioned this tarte amazonian clay blush set on my previous post.

This Tarte Fantastic Foursome 4-Piece Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Enthusiast Set was out of stock for the longest time on sephora.com and in store! i went to at least 5 sephora around my area and they were all sold out! though it was still available on tartecosmetics.com, i still didn't feel like spending money when i had some sephora store credit that i can use..

Just over the weekend, i went to visit a friend in LA and we went shopping together and of course.. we went to sephora! I didn't have anything in mind to buy because i knew the friends and family sale is just around the corner (Mid November 2012), and sephora is already having their 20% off friends and family online which started two days ago (October 18, 2012, limited to sephora employees' fnf)

though i found this tarte blush set that i was looking for ages! i knew i couldnt pass this up! it's been out of stock for a while and i found it in store! (yay i can finally use my store credits! lol) even i paid full price for this set, it's still a good deal.

there are 4 blushes in this kit, these blushes are 0.1oz each (full size is 0.2oz and they are $25 each) which makes means each of these blushes worth $12.50. this set's retail value should be $50 instead of $60

SEPHORA HAUL & REVIEW: SEPHORA COLLECTION Make Up Artist Brush Belt Set

Saw this brush set on sale for $99 on sephora.com a few weeks back. even though it was a great deal (original price at $275, value at $422), i still cant justify spending so much on brushes! also, because i still have over $100 sephora store credit, so i thought i'd just find this brush set in a sephora store and use my store credit instead of swiping my card! so i hesitated... which was not a good idea haha

i went to probably 4 or 5 sephoras, and they were ALL SOLD OUT! so i immediately went back online to check. guess what. surprised! its out of stock online too! :'( i kept going back to sephora.com to check for probably 2 or 3 weeks, and lost hope.. and thought maybe its not meant to be HAHA (best way to make myself feel better after missing out on great deals.. since there's not much i can do lol)

so just last week, i had nothing to do during lunch break at work.. so i went on sephora.com to browse around and this brush set was in stock!!! i immediately added it to my cart and processed checkout! and minutes after i checked out, it's out of stock again. i was so lucky! YAY!!! finally got my hands on these brushes!

This set comes with 15 brushes and a faux leather brush belt with adjustable strap.

just the SEPHORA COLLECTION Makeup Artist Brush Belt alone costs $42! each of these brushes cost between $20-30! these brushes are pretty soft, though not the softest brushes i own.. which is sad because i know someone out there paid full price for these not so great quality brushes. but since i paid only $6and some changes per brush, i cant complain. 

the faux leather belt felt flimsy and had a strong chemical smell to it. never own a brush belt before and i'm not sure if i'd ever need one.. and for $42 it's definitely not worth it if you ask me!

all and all, great brush set for beginners and for the price, cant beat it!

I'm still bummed out about that. (Both blush palettes were around $65, which include 6x blushes at 0.12 oz. each. A full size NARS blush is $28.00 for 0.16 oz already!) It's such a great deal if you can get your hands on these NARS palettes.
